Both Mayim Bialik and Jennifer Aniston are known for their respective sitcoms. However, long before they became household names as Rachel ofFRIENDSand Amy ofThe Big Bang Theory,the two shared the screen in an often-overlooked sitcom from the early ’90s,Molloy.
The early ’90s sitcom, that the two starred in their initial years, featured them as stepsisters, something which Bialik later reminisced about by sharing a glimpse of her younger self alongside Aniston from their time working together.

The show centered around 11-year-old Molloy Martin, whose world is turned upside down when she has to move in with her father, stepmother, and stepsiblings after her mother unexpectedly passes away.
Bialik took on the titular role in the show while Aniston portrayed her stepsister Courtney in her first-ever TV role. Unfortunately, theshow was canceledafter four episodes due to low ratings. The last three episodes of the sitcom were never aired.
The Big Bang Theorystar, who reportedly filmedMolloyandBlossomsubsequently, later moved on to star inthe NBC sitcom,which enjoyed a successful five-season run and has since become one of her most popular performances.

Back in 2015,Mayim Bialiksurprised her fans and followers with throwback pictures of her younger self hugging and smiling with Jennifer Aniston from their time on the short-lived showMolloy.

Prior to that, the actress also shared another picture from their time working together onX (Twitter), with the caption reading,“For #tbt here’s another of me & Jennifer Aniston from ‘Molloy.’ you can tell how much she liked me, right?! heehee.”
While the show they starred in came to an unfortunate end, both Bialik and Aniston continued their journey and have become successful comedic stars. However, theFRIENDSstar has rarely spoken about her time on the show.
After Molloy, Aniston would go on to star in a number of TV shows before she landed her popular role as Rachel Green on the hit sitcomFRIENDS. As for Bialik, afterBlossom, she went on to make guest appearances on various TV shows before securingthe biggest role of her careeras Amy Farrah Fowler onThe Big Bang Theory.
