Supernaturalis one of the few shows to have enjoyed continued success over a decade, lasting a whopping fifteen seasons. Despite several ups and downs in the show’s quality and the lives of the main characters, Sam and Dean Winchester, one aspect remained consistent—their car, a 1967 Impala affectionately dubbed “Baby.”

Over the show’s run, the Impala has become an iconic and indispensable part of the fantasy drama series. As a result, it might surprise fans to learn that creator Eric Kripke had a completely different car in mind for the primary ride of the main characters. Here is what Kripke had originally intended for the Winchesters’ ride inSupernatural.
