Later today,XDefiantservers will be taken offline asUbisoftgears up to release the game’s very first season. The new content update will be filled with new content based on another popular Ubisoft first-person shooter:Rainbow Six Siege.
Season 1 will introduce a brand-new faction to XDefiant known as GSK. Equipped with electrified barbed wire, G52-Tactical Shield, and a new Active Defense System, this new faction is coming to shake up the XDefiant meta. The new season will also introduce three new maps, three new weapons, a new Capture the Flag mode, Ranked play, and much more.

XDefiant Server Downtime Schedule For July 2
Ubisoft has confirmed that XDefiant will be taken offline for maintenance onTuesday, July 2nd at 6AM PT / 9AM ET / 2PM BST.The studio announced in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that the game’s servers would beoffline for a total of 2 hours, meaning XDefiant players will be able to jump back in atapproximately 8AM PT / 11AM ET / 4PM BST.
However, it is worth noting that server downtime may be extended, should any issues arise during the deployment of Season 1. But whilst you wait for the arrival of Season 1, make sure to check out the full patch notes for the July 2 XDefiant update below.
