Star Wars Takes A Page Out Of The Marvel Book
In recent news, theStar Warsfranchise isreportedly working on a show, similar to Marvel’sWhat If…?The show, similar to Marvel, will explore different situations and scenarios from theStar Warsuniverse. And while it is a good idea, there have been comments about how Disney is just trying to milk money from the same idea from different ventures.
A ‘What If…?’ version of Star Wars can bring about a lot of possibilities. From the original trilogy to the recent ones to all the other movies and shows that have come since, the possibilities are endless. But is this really what the franchise needs or are they only looking at it as a money-making opportunity.

Fans React to Star Wars What If…? News
TheStar Warsfandom is probably one of the most hardcore fandoms. They take their lore very seriously, and do not like when there are changes made to the existing lore. TheDaisy RidleyStar Wars trilogy that was an attempt to relaunch the franchise failed pretty badly, even with the inclusion of the original cast.
A show like What If…? will completely overturn every possibility from the franchise and bring about new changes. And with the recent news, they want the sequel trilogy to be completely wiped from the Star Wars canon if possible
