When the game was launched in 2020, it instantly became a fan favorite and managed to make its name in the much-saturated battle royale genre. At the time of the release, Verdansk was the first battleground for players, so nostalgic value is attached to it.

Fortunately for fans, it seemsActivisionand developers have acted upon the wishes, as the map is confirmed to be returning in 2025. The exact timeline for its return hasn’t been revealed yet, but it is expected to come back during the spring of 2025.
