After a lot of speculation and teasers, Riot Games has officially revealed Fracture as the upcoming map forValorantEpisode 3 Act 2.
Previous rumors suggested that a new Agent known as Deadeye would also be joiningValorantin the upcoming Act, but that has yet to be confirmed by Riot Games.

Riot Games Reveals New Fracture Map ForValorantEpisode 3 Act 2
After a few days of teasers over on theValorantTwitter account, a new trailer finally dropped showcasing the next map to join the game.
According to ValorINTEL on Twitter, the map has an H-Shaped layout with zip lines that run underneath the map, connecting the two sides. Defenders will also spawn in the center of the map, with attackers spawning on both sides. Check out the official trailer for Fracture below to get the first look at the upcoming map.
ValorantNew Map - Fracture
On August 31st, theValorantTwitter account posted a short clip of what is likely to be the upcoming Fracture map in Episode 3 Act 2.
This wasn’t the first time we got a glimpse at Fracture, as the Year One Anthem video released byValorantalso gave us a short clip of the upcoming map.
According to ValorLeaks, a reliableValorantleaker on Twitter, Fracture is a top-secret experiment site split apart by a radianite-fueled disaster. Players will flip the script on attackers with aggressive defender positioning on a new dual-biome map.

ValorantNew Agent - Deadeye
Alongside Fracture, there are rumors that a new Agent will be included in the Episode 3 Act 2 update. But, this is something fans may want to take with a grain of salt.
The firstteaser for Deadeyealso arrived in the Year One Anthem video, but it’s possible that he won’t be arriving in Episode 3 Act 2.
But with that said,Valorantreleased a cryptic teaser on August 30th which shows a purple bullet leaving its casing. This could be something unrelated to Deadeye, but many believe this could be related to the next Agent, possibly even teasing his Ultimate ability.
Although it’s unlikely a new agent is releasing with Episode 3 Act 2, the teaser found above has started speculation that Deadeye could be launching alongside the new map Fracture.
When DoesValorantEpisode 3 Act 2 Start?
After a short delay, Riot Games has announced that Episode 3 Act 2 will now release on Wednesday, September 8th, 2021. An exact timeframe for the upcoming release is set to be confirmed by the developers in the coming days.
