The series has been a rollercoaster ride with the themes of adventure, comedy, and supernatural elements that made it one of the most underrated manga series of all time.

It was disclosed that the manga creator will release a special bonus chapter that will bring the perfect closure to the intriguingUndead Unlucknarrative.
This news has sent a wave of excitement among theUndead Unluckfans who felt that the ending of the series was incomplete. Tozuka’s decision is similar to Kohei Horikoshi’s, the manga creator ofMy Hero Academia, who also added a bonus chapter to save the series.

Undead Unluckwas one of the most underrated manga series, which only got the hype after the anime adaptation of the series was released. The serialization of the manga started in January 2020, and it went on to release many enticing chapters for the next five years until the story reached its conclusion in January 2025.

This sentiment was also shared by Tozuka, the creator of the series. Thus, he decided to do something about it and made the announcement about the bonus chapter.
According to the official X account ofUndead Unluck,the bonus chapter will be released with the final volume that is scheduled to come out in April 2025. And although the release date feels too far in the future, it will be worth the wait. There is also a big possibility that the bonus chapter might provide a hint about a sequel or a spin-off series that could continue the story ofUndead Unluck.

The manga creator thanked the fans for reading the entire story until the end and pointed out that he will express his gratitude to everyone who was involved in the creation ofUndead Unluckonce the final volume of the series is released.
He then went on to explain how he felt that the final chapter was still not completed and needed some more substance to it. Thus, he decided to include a newly drawn chapter that will be released along with the final volume. He also pointed out that currently, he would like to hold off on the afterword of this final chapter and let the fans decide.
