The 2024 arrest of Diddy has been one of the biggest highlights of the year, sparking widespread attention and implicating several Hollywood figures, including pop star and singer Justin Bieber. One particular detail that has resurfaced is the 48 hours Bieber spent with the music mogul when he was just 15 years old.

The resurfaced video has since gained renewed attention, as people revisit it for darker context in light of Diddy’s allegations of sex trafficking and racketeering. The political critic, Candace Owens, recently commented on the situation, expressing her discomfort with the industry’s acceptance of Bieber’s association with Diddy at such a young age.

Reflecting on Bieber’s assertions of protecting Billie Eilish in a previous interview, Owensreferenced the early career of the singer, who grew to fame and recognition at the age of 13. However, she further suggested that it seemed as though Hollywood was preparing to “initiate” him into its darker side.

Owens stated in her show,Candace,
Just two years after being a 13-year-old, getting his entire career, seeing this little hopeful, joyful, young… Justin Bieber turned 15 and it suddenly seemed that Hollywood was keen to almost initiate him… There’s almost like an initiation that he had to go through.

She further reflected on the now-infamous 48-hour video, where Bieber, signed to Usher’s label at the time, was left in the care of the disgraced music mogul. Owens raised the question of why Bieber was allowed to be around Diddy despite the allegations surrounding him.
As we’re going through these lawsuits and Diddy is in prison, we’re recognizing that everybody knew. This was an open secret about what Diddy was doing. So it just begs the question, who allowed Justin Bieber to be in the presence of this man, knowing what he was up to, allegedly?

Continuing to critique the industry’s treatment of Bieber, Owens said,“This is Hollywood, guys!”She has previously expressed herbelief that Bieber might be one of the alleged victims of Diddy, sharing her concerns about the troubling adults around him during his rise to fame.

She further claimed on hershow,
I was horrified when I saw this not because of the idea that Justin Bieber would be engaged in these sorts of things at these parties, but because I understood that this was a kid who was intentionally targeted by Diddy — Diddy is trying to contact him through people.
“I truly believe that Justin Bieber is a victim,”she further emphasized, noting that he was likely subjected to theentertainment industry’s dark underbelly, including being forced into “drugs,” partying, and other addictions he later opened up about.
