The amount ofinsanely good cosplays forÂThe Last of UsÂhas gone up immensely since the release ofÂThe Last of Us Part IIback in June. Every time I see a great cosplay forÂthe Last of Us,particularly of the clickers, I always ensure to check the news just to double-check that 2020 isn’t throwing another curveball our way in the form of a fungal zombie infection and these cosplayers had me checking CNN faster than you’re able to say “Naughty Dog.”
The attention to detail in the make up to things other than the giant fungal head growths are what really set this apart from other cosplays I’ve seen. The skin up and down the arms on both people is torn up, dirty, and frayed like they’re decomposing in front of your very eyes.
The stars of the show are obviously the fungal growths that give both cosplayers the classic “cauliflower” clicker look. However, the growths coming out of their sides and through the tears in their shirts really help sell the whole thing.
