Hideo Kojima, the mastermind Japanese video game designer who also has a never-fulfilling appetite for entertainment through movies and television series, has landed his verdict on another piece of masterwork. And, this time, the project that has received his honest reviews is a 2023-released incredibly in-depth critically commended Holocaust war drama.

“The Zone of Interest is the best Holocaust movie I’ve witnessed since my own. It’s doing a lot of good work in raising awareness, especially about the banality of evil.”
For those who still may not have known about it, Glazer’s 2023 movie encircles the life of Rudolf Höss (played by Christian Friedel), who is the commandant of Auschwitz, and his wife Hedwig Höss (Sandra Hüller), from back in 1943.
