The Big Three of the Japanese anime industry:Naruto, One Piece, andBleachhave been ruling the community for decades. They have been a source of inspiration for almost every new generation of anime and will continue to inspire even more. However, as anime fans know, there has also been a fierce rivalry between the three legendary series for the top spot.

AlthoughOne PieceandNarutohave established a strong base,Bleachhas always been considered the weakest among the three. Tite Kubo’s series may be a genre in its own right, but when compared toOne PieceandNaruto, it has struggled to build a name for itself. Still, it managed to soar against the two in one major element, and that is the soundtrack.
Bleach’ssoundtrack has had an incredible effect on the success of the series, and to this day, no other anime has been able to compete with it. It fits perfectly with the dark theme of the series and enhances almost every important moment of the series.

The Bankai Element ofBleachAnime
Tite KubostartedBleachin 2001, but the series earned its recognition after the release of the anime series in 2004. It had an amazing narrative following the adventures of a high school kid who enters the world of Soul Reapers and makes a place for himself. While the story was interesting, the one thing that grabbed the attention of fans from day one was its multiple soundtracks.

The openings, endings, and character-associated songs were the most underrated elements of the series, but fans recognized their potential, and the music composers certainly did not disappoint. The soundtracksadded thrill to the adventuresand created suspense in the fights.
Not only that, but they even had a big effect on the emotional moments of the series. They made a space for themselves in the minds of the viewers and brought them back for more. The soundtracks varied with every character and scenario, but almost every single one of them was too catchy to ignore.

The BestBleachSoundtrack That is Still Undefeated
Although the anime series had over 100 soundtracks, including the opening themes, character introductions, fighting tunes, and endings, the one that to this day stands at the top is Precipice of Defeat, composed by Shirō Sagisu. It was the first soundtrack of the firstBleachalbum, and to this day it remains undefeated.
It is one of the most nostalgic themes ofBleach, as it played for the entire Soul Society arc.

It was originally made for Ichigo’s introduction as a Soul Reaper for the very first time, but it made such an impact on the series that it officially became the recognized element of the series.

A lot ofBleach’ssoundtrack made it to theBleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, but the fans were still excited about Precipice of Defeat. Although the sequel series managed to correct a lot of mistakes that were reflected during the first series, themusic still managedto be at the top of the “Best Elements inBleach” list.
Bleachis available to watch on Hulu.
