For quite some time now, Sean Combs, popularly known as P Diddy or Puff Daddy, has been under public scrutiny for a ton of terrifying things you would never imagine celebrities like him doing. Diddy rose to fame during the 90s, working alongside artists like the Notorious B.I.G., Faith Evans, and Craig Mack, while releasing his own music including hits likeI’ll Be Missing You,Mo Money Mo Problems, and many more.
Combs managed to build himself an empire which started with Bad Boy Records, and his business ventures eventually branched off into the world of entertainment, beverages, and fashion. But Diddy wanted to be recognized as the biggest celebrity in town and he did everything to get to that level.
Besides working with Hollywood A-listers and budding stars in the music industry, Combs was notorious for his high-profile parties. Unfortunately, these parties weren’t ordinary celebrity gatherings, as evidence of his dirty antics would surface following a lawsuit his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, filed claiming he physically and se*ually abused her throughout their relationship.
From there, Diddy’s reputation would spiral out of control as secrets regarding his infamous parties went public. The rapper went into hiding before he was arrested in New York for s*x trafficking and racketeering. Some of his associates in the business are slowly speaking out about him while the FBI digs deeper into the situation.
Nick Cannon admits partying with P Diddy when he was a teenager
Right now, the entire world is trying to uncover the dark history behind P Diddy’s parties and his “freak offs”. It isn’t a secret that Diddy had many high-profile celebrities attend these parties as most of them would post pictures and videos online.
Recently,Nick Cannon, the legendary host ofWild ’n Outboldly spoke about visiting one of Diddy’s parties in the past. Cannon, who is also popularly known as Mariah Carey’s ex-husband, claimed that he attended one of Diddy’s parties as a teenager. During an appearance onThe Breakfast Clubpodcast, Cannon said,
I’ve even been at one when I was a kid… Like, 16, 17… I remember standing outside, trying to get into a Puff party out here in New York.
The podcast hosts including, Charlamagne, were quite surprised Cannon had no filter regarding his connection to Diddy while nobody else seemed to be talking about these parties. Cannon mentioned that Diddy’s parties were “official” in New York during the 90s. The 44-year-old further added,
Everybody gets scared to talk because they probably got something to hide. I ain’t got nothing to hide. I was in there Harlem shaking and doing all of that stuff.

Cannon even confessed that he attended these parties sober claiming he doesn’t drink or use narcotics of any kind. TheDrumlineactor didn’t have anything bad to say, but this will still put a target on his back over time.
Nick Cannon was hoping for the best for P Diddy and Cassie Ventura
It’s no secret that Nick Cannon had some sort of a relationship withP Diddyconsidering they worked in the music business together. In November 2023, Cassie Ventura, who was previously signed to Combs’ record label filed a lawsuit against the Grammy Award-winning record producer alleging that he was abusive throughout their relationship between 2007 and 2018.
When the lawsuit went public, Cannon claimed that he prayed for the best for both of his friends. According toEntertainment Tonight, the actor told Angela Lee ofThe Way Uppodcast,
We just, like, the audience, we sitting back praying and hoping for the best, but then at the same time, when individuals… it’s like a family member, when you hear something happened, you’re like, ‘Damn.’
Cannon also added that he didn’t know what to feel about the situation since nobody knew the truth, especially him. However, Ventura’s lawsuit would only encourage hundreds of other individuals to speak out against Diddy’s years of abuse.
