Fans Are Tired Of Netflix MilkingSquid Game

While season 2 ofSquid Gameonly began production in July of this year, Netflix does not seem to slow down on related content. The streaming platform recently announced a slate of video games as a part of their application, which included a game based on the show. According toVariety, it would feature similar games as the series and let one compete with other players.

This is the second non-scripted TV piece of media that the streaming giant has developed based on the hit show. Earlier this year, aSquid Game-based reality TV show debuted on Netflix, which featured similar games as the show and mimicked the killings with a squib. The show received mixed responses, with many criticizing the depiction of the killings.

With the video game series now in development, fans of the show seemed to be frustrated with the streaming giant for milking the series too much before releasing the most-awaited second season. Many believe that the show will be drained out of its potential even before the actual series progresses.
