I’m not sure there will ever be a time where we get tired ofThe Witcher 3. Not only is it an exceptional game that sold around28 million copiesworldwide, but theNetflix showalso was such a big hit among fans that then sawThe Witcher 3: Wild Huntreach a new all-time high concurrentplayer counton Steam. But amidst all the hype for the game, there’s still one thing thatWitcherfans want and that’s a special editionWitcherSwitch - or Switcher if you will. Thanks to Reddit userSwervitowho took it upon themselves to give the people what they want and designed a customThe Witcher 3: Wild Hunt-inspired Switch Lite.
We just don’t have enough redesigned Nintendo Switch consoles, that’s a fact. The most recentAnimal Crossingeditionis one of very few the company has brought out and that’s almost impossible to come across due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Before that, we saw the likes of aPokémonNintendo Switch,Super Smash BrosSwitch, and aDiablo III Eternalthemed ones but what about aWitcher 3themed one, damn it! Well, since it doesn’t look like we’ll get one anytime soon, it’s left to the fans as usual to meet our needs and boy, do I wish this was real. Swervito has taken to photoshop to craft a beautiful custom red and white “The Switcher Lite”, complete with deep crimson buttons and a red silhouette of Geralt and Roach caressed against a pale backdrop. Swervito has created such a simplistic and clean design that isn’t cluttered with too much graphic placement with also the Switch logo clearly present on the back - it’s no wonder this redesign blew up to 12k upvotes on Reddit.
I would love to see Nintendo take some inspiration from Swervito’s custom madeThe Witcher 3Switch lite impression and adapt more beloved games into their Switch designs but as of right now, we will just have to make do with staring longingly at this beauty. In the meantime, talented fans will keep on producing some incredible Switch designs and long may it continue.

As someone who’s pretty much addicted to it, I can say that I’m really enjoying it quite a lot.
