The series has revealed a release window for the season that has been awaited by fans for almost 5 years. This announcement has taken away all the doubts thatOne Punch Manfans had about the series.
One Punch Manfirst came out as a manga series in 2012 and was created by mangaka ONE. The superhero themes mixed with humor instantly grabbed everyone’s attention and the manga gained an anime adaptation in 2015. The anime only helped with the success of the series and it became one of the most popular stories getting another season in 2019.
As the second season ended on a cliffhanger, fans were eagerly waiting for a third season. However, much to their disappointment, the creators went silent regarding the release of the third season. This led to the belief that the third season ofOne Punch Manmight never see the light of day, until now.

As 2025 marks the tenth anniversary ofOne Punch Man,the series’ official websitemade a bunch of special announcements, including the release window of the third season, which is scheduled to be released next year. The series also announced the release of the anime’s first two seasons’ debut episodes and their theme song videos on YouTube.
Along with that, a special One-Punch Man music festival is set to be held on Jun 25, 2025.
The cast of the series will make a special appearance at the music festival, which will focus on the performances of the opening theme songs, ending theme songs, and background music from the first and second seasons ofOne Punch Man.

The anniversary special promo video was released on YouTube, and there are a few more announcements that will be made in the future. Therefore, it is safe to say that 2025 will be the year ofOne Punch Man, with the third season being its biggest project.
