Suicide Squad:Kill the Justice League‘s cloudy launch demonstrated the exact opposite of confidence in Rocksteady Studios. We have to admit, this follow-up to theArkhamseries is definitely on fire, but some things have definitely been done wrong, according to folks. Yeah, these lackluster endings for the bat and the other ones.

The fact that the game did not get along with DC fans was also reflected in Steam statistics. Yes, it got some attention when it was first released; it was a bumpy ride. As it turns out, folks’ interest was never high, placing it below evenGotham KnightsandMarvel’s Midnight Suns.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Has Fewer Players on Steam Than Gotham Knights and Marvel’s Midnight Suns
Yes, you heard right. The newSuicide Squadaddition has even fewer players thanGotham KnightsandMarvel’s Midnight Suns, which came out with high expectations and just couldn’t slay charts. Well, we are discussing the all-time peak here rather than the number of active players.
One Member of the Justice League Deserved a Better Ending Than the Lackluster One Given to Him By Rocksteady in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
According to SteamDB,Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leaguereached its highest Steam player count of all time, with13,459 last Saturday. The peak is lower than that ofGotham Knights(24,138) and evenMarvel’s Midnight Suns(15,500).
These data are the biggest evidence that the newSuicide Squadaddition has not fully reached its potential. That said, it’s still brand new and released last week. So, this can be interpreted as a new Steam peak in the future, albeit unlikely.

What Didn’t Suicide Squad Achieve?
Rocksteady Studios actually took a risk by changing a concept it saw as corny. This resulted in a work where, contrary to normal, we killed supervillains and superheroes brainwashed by Brainiac. After all, isn’t the name of the gameKill the Justice League?
“James is actually a gamer”: ‘Passionate’ James Gunn is an Integral Part to Making DCU-connected Games a Reality – Hopefully They’re Better than Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
The real issue was not that fans killed their favorite superheroes but the weak and lackluster endings they had for them. Harley Quinn grabs her gun, says a few sarcastic words, and kills the Dark Knight by shooting him in the head. We all know Batman doesn’t deserve such an ending.
Besides the Bat,Justice Leaguemembers killed include Flash, Green Lantern, and Superman. Fans either didn’t want these superheroes to be killed off, or they weren’t pleased with the way they died. Both situations greatly reduced the excitement and caused players to abandon the game.
