Schedule I, the game currently topping the global steam charts, is every diehard Breaking Bad fan’s perfect dream of a game. Players will drop into the somewhat sleepy town of Hyland Point with very little to their name.
Starting from the humblest of beginnings players can start out selling drugs on the streets to perspective buyers while stealing more product to push themselves.
Over time as the drug empire begins to form there will be opportunities for major expansion; players can purchase buildings to create drug labs to increase product output while also distributing to dealers to do the street selling for them. Throw in some FPS action with police and rival gang intervention with a not-too-serious animation style, and you’ve got the top game on Steam right now.
Schedule I was created by developer TVGS, which is just a one-person show. A fuller version of the game was released to the Steam market yesterday. Since then,Schedule I has received over 2,800 reviews,with the majority falling into the “Overwhelmingly Positive” category.
Many reviewers cite the game’s ability to combine the video game vibe of Grand Theft Auto V with the iconic TV feel of Breaking Bad, all the while not taking itself too seriously with a hilarious yet simplistic animation style.

TVGS plans to keep the game in its current state for a couple of years. Schedule I is still in alpha, but the developer plans to expand on the groundwork by adding new types of drugs, a bigger network for supplies and drug distribution, a huge map expansion, and “more fun things.”
In a time when players have so many cool titles to choose from, it is pretty awesome to see everyone collectively come together to show love for a single developer after they’ve created a “perfect storm” game for anyone looking to live out their drug kingpin fantasies.
