Season 2 of The Misfit Of Demon King Academy has finally been confirmed, and it’s set to hit screens sometime in 2023.
The past few months have been exhilarating for anime fans, with plenty to watch each week and some huge announcements for the coming months and years. Earlier this month, official announcements for various anime shows such as Tokyo Revengers, Bungo Stray Dogs, and Chainsaw Man were made. Now the big news continues as we finally receive confirmation of The Misfit Of Demon King Academy Season 2.
This adventure-romance series is based on a series of novels by Shu, which first began in April 2017. The manga adaptation of the light novel then started its serialization in 2018 but came to an end during its fourth volume in 2021 due to the author’s unfortunate passing.
Noticing the huge popularity of season one, season two was greenlit back in March 2021. Since then, fans of the series have been eagerly waiting to hear something about its release schedule. Well, just recently, theofficial Twitter accountandwebsiteof The Misfit of Demon King Academy confirmed that the second season is returning in 2023. A more precise release date has not been announced, but will likely be shared in the lead-up to next year.
A new key visual is also out, showing the series' main protagonist, Anos Voldigoad. The key visual reads, “The strongest demon king in history reincarnated to go to the children’s school.”
