This article includes spoilers for The Last Of Us: Part II and potential spoilers for HBO’s The Last Of Us Season 2.
After an amazing season one,The Last of Usseason two is underway as the HBO post-apocalyptic series finally got boots on the ground on February 12 in Vancouver, Canada. Although there isn’t a premiere date just yet, it might not be until 2025 before we see Joel, Ellie and the rest of the cast in their bid to endure and survive the harsh reality brought to its knees by the cordyceps virus.

We’ve already seen some exciting behind the scenes images that have included the iconicEllie and Dina dancein Jackson, but now, it’s reported that HBO have found the location for that devastating Joel scene that shook fans to the core.
The Last Of Us Mod Will Soon Add New Infected, Friendly Dogs, And More
A brand new mod will be added to The Last of Us that includes horrific burning infected, dogs that are friendly, weapon shops, a new menu, and more.
“You Don’t Get To Rush This”
How could anyone, even if they so desperately wanted to, forget that horrific scene between Joel andAbbyat the Baldwin Mansion? (known as The Chalet or hunting/ski lodge). It is forever imprinted into the minds of players, where so many were outraged that Joel could be so brutally murdered by a, initially unknown, woman filled with anger, and with a golf club, of all things!
Well, it looks like fans may have to relive that moment yet again in The Last of Us season 2.

In a post byThe Last of Us Newson X, it’s reported that the HBO production crew has rented a property in British Columbia that looks exactly like The Chalet from Part 2 with its huge windows and wooden structure, but what’s even more interesting is that the chalet is near a golf course which is either a really brutal joke or it’s going to showcase how Abby got her hands on a golf club in the first place.
Of course, this apparent news has set fans on fire with almost all of the comments under the post in shock that this could actually be the scene for season 2’s most dreaded moment and the absolute dismay that the property is beside a golf course. “Near a golf course is FOUL”, “When you know, you know” and “Wow that’s such a nice house! i’m sure nothing bad could happen there” were some of the comments from fans.

As for now, HBO haven’t officially stated that the iconic chalet pictured will be used in season 2 and for now, it’s just a rumor, but my god, how incredibly similar does it look to the one in The Last of Us Part 2? From its stunning gigantic windows and idealistic snowy environment to its tongue-in-cheek location, if they haven’t rented this place out yet, then they really should!
