If you are anything like me, you probably have playedThe Last of Us, and also The Last of Us Part 2, quite a few times by this stage. Still, there’s always something new to discover in each play-through, as both games are packed with interesting Easter eggs and a ton of cool details that take the most eagle-eyed players to unearth.
Even though there isn’t a confirmedThe Last of Us 3, with Neil Druckmann only stating that it’s in its concept stage, a mod is being created that gives PC players a whole fresh new look to Part 1 that should tie them over until we actually get our hands on the third game.
The Willy Wonka Experience Has Been Created In The Sims And It’s Sensational
The Willy Wonka experience has been created in The Sims and it’s hilariously on point.
The Last of Us modder Speclizer, who has been creating amazing mods and exploration videos for TLOU as well as other Naughty Dog titles for years, is in the process of crafting a mod for The Last of Us Part 1 on PC called ‘TLOU: Endure Survival’ that includes some very cool features. Not only are they going to implement friendly dogs that can locate and distract enemies while you fight, and that you can also feed to maintain their health, but Specizer is also going to comprise a weapons workshop where Joel can purchase arsenal like an assault rifle, bow or pump shotgun.
Of course, that’s not the end of Speclizer’s modding talents. On top of these very cool add-ons, they are also including a new infected type called “burners” that will scorch you if you get too close to them. So, not only will players have to deal with all the horrendous infected already in the game like bloaters, stalkers, and runners, but now ones on fire will be after their asses. Sounds perfect to me!
To place the cherry on top of all of these wonderful mod placements, Specizer will also incorporate a brand new main menu that gets rid of the relaxing sunlit window frame with a gentle breeze rolling in, and in its place is an equally chilled window with rain running down it at night with a view across apartment blocks. It’s almost like one of those YouTube ASMR videos you’d use to fall asleep quicker. It’s pretty amazing.
Although there’s no confirmed date as yet when the mod will be released on PC, you can guarantee that it’ll certainly be something special and a really cool feature for The Last of Us fans to look forward to since the news of its multiplayer getting binned hit the community hard.
Naughty Dog director Neil Druckmann hasrecently statedthat he has found the process of making a game incredibly stressful since Uncharted 4 and doesn’t think he has too many games left in him due to this. Here’s hoping he still has enough left in him for The Last of Us Part 3 or at the very least a brand-new IP.
