Indiana Jones is one of the most celebrated characters in cinema as he has all the nice traits that make him super-lovable. MachineGames has been very careful about treating the character with the utmost respect without hindering his reputation.

You will not be able to kill dogs inIndiana Jones and the Great Circlesince Indy is a huge dog lover. As revealed inThe Last Crusade,Indy’s real name is Henry Jones Jr.Indiana was the name of his beloved dog, and Indy could never truly recover from his death.
This sets up the perfect premise for why Indy would do absolutely nothing to cause harm to any dog. Even if you point your gun toward a dog in the game, he will not pull the trigger even if he is caught in a compromising situation.
This little addition adds a lot of depth to his character and enables people to empathize with him, making him more lovable than ever. MachineGames seems to have taken a completely different approach towards this game than Wolfenstein, where you are required to kill a dog in the early stages of the game.
