A new trailer was shared from The Division Resurgence recently, detailing the background story of the game and sharing some gameplay footage from the upcoming mobile shooter byUbisoft. The new trailer invites fans toregisterfor a chance to participate in the closed beta.

Despite the fact thatThe Division 2couldn’t meet the financial expectations of Ubisoft, the French developer and publisher is eager to expand the series more by focusing on free-to-play experiences. While The Division Heartland is already in development as a free-to-play spin-off from the series for PC and consoles, a mobile version under the name of The Division Resurgence is also being developed.

In a recent blog post, Ubisoft revealed that a closed live test will be available from today until December 22 in select European countries on Android. While you can currently register for a chance to participate in future testing sessions, you will only be able to take part in the current live test if you register from Europe and choose Android as your operating system. Ubisoft says more regions and platforms might be added to live test at a later date, but it is currently available with the aforementioned conditions.

The upcoming live test will include both story missions and PvP modes, allowing players to enjoy story-driven quests or other open-world activities in solo mode or within a squad. The PvP mode “Conflict” and PvPvE mode “Dark Zone” will also be available during this live test period.

Hopefully, the testing session does not include an NDA agreement, which means players can freely share their thoughts on the beta version of The Division Resurgence and post gameplay clips on social media. This seems to be a great opportunity for content creators who are looking forward to sharing some early opinions about The Division Resurgence with their audience.

Currently, there is no official release date for The Division Resurgence, but regarding the fact that the game hosts a no-NDA testing session with most of its content playable, it doesn’t seem to be far away from its official launch on Android and iOS devices.
