Back during her tenure inA Simple Favor, rumors emerged stressing that she had an alleged personality difference with her costar Anna Kendrick. As for their experience on set, the latter claimed that her kiss with Lively was one for the Guinness book.

For this very reason, theTwilightstar claimed that her kiss with Lively was the mintiest, freshest kiss in all of America’s history, and upon being congratulated, the actress quipped (Pridesource),“Thank you. Call Guinness.”
I mean, all I’m ever thinking about in (kissing) scenes is, who has gum? Who has a mint? And I think Blake is probably the same because I’ve never experienced a guy, like, searching for a mint and searching for gum. So, we were the mintiest, freshest two people to have ever kissed in the history of America.
Even though this specific record wasn’t entertained by Guinness, prior toA Simple Favor‘s debut, rumors stressed that there was an alleged rift between them.

Although it can’t be said for certain if there was any weight between the rumors or not, as of now, theTwilightstar has nothing but fond words about reuniting with Lively for the sequel (viaPeople).
She lives on the East Coast, I live on the West Coast, so we don’t get to see each other often. But it was lovely, and I think that those characters have such weird chemistry that it’s so fun to just get the gang back together. And it does feel a little bit like riding a bike.
Given how beloved the first film was, it’ll be interesting to see if they finally find their way to the record books with the sequel.
