He said,

However, Takashi Matsuyama, Akira Toriyama’s assistant for many years, shared a piece of vital information regarding the mangaka artist’s death withChunichi ShimbunviaSaiyaJedi. He said,

“At that time, Toriyama told him that he would be undergoing surgery for a brain tumor in the new year. He was nonchalant about it, but Matsuyama recalls him struggling with quitting smoking.”

However, he did mention that there are a number of factors that are taken into consideration. He mentioned how there’s a“chronic form of these hematomas often occur in the elderly and can be triggered as a bump in the head.”He said,
“Chronic hematomas tend to develop more slowly with more subtle symptoms and tend to be cause by more minor head injuries.”
The information given by Dr. Mahdi explains how Toriyama-Sensei had been suffering for a long time. Nevertheless, during the time of his departure, he died as the third richest mangaka artist with a net worth of $50 million.
