Stellar Blade, the highly anticipated PlayStation-exclusive game set to release on April 26th, was already the talk of the town in gaming communities. The game has been showered with praise since its demo launch.

Stellar Blade’s CD case has a hidden secret.

However, with a recent video shared on X/Twitter, people haven’t just been talking about the game, but about the attention to detail that the creative team has showcased. If you were thinking about skipping out on the physical release, this might change your mind.

Stellar Blade’s Physical Release Has This One Cool Feature

In a recent video shared by the officialStellar BladeX/Twitter account, the developers unveiled a special treat for fans purchasing the physical edition: reversible box art. The innovative feature allows players to customize their CD case by easily flipping the cover to reveal a different design.

Sure, it’s a pretty simple feature, but it’s a neat trick and makes it just that much more worth springing for the physical edition. On one side, players will find an image ofStellar Blade‘s striking protagonist, Eve, gracing the front cover.

You meet her at the start of the game, as she guides you through the tutorial. Then there’s Adam, a resourceful scavenger navigating the post-apocalyptic landscape. He also appears in the tutorial, and sort of acts as your side-kick and companion after the second act of the demo kicks off.

You’ll also spot Lily, the skilled engineer hailing from the 5th Airborne Squad. You don’t get to meet her in the demo, but there’s a nice feature video on the official PlayStation YouTube which can help you get to know her a little better.

There are also a few other characters on the cover art, and that mystery is best left for players to unravel themselves on April 26th.

Even the Digital Release Compels Players to Splurge

While the reversible box art alone makes the physical release a must-have for collectors and fans alike, there’s an added incentive to also consider purchasing the digital edition ofStellar Blade. For those who get the Digital Deluxe version, you get a ton of exclusive in-game items.

There’s the stylish Stargazer Suit, Quadruple Rectangle Earrings, and Half-rim Glasses for Eve, and a sleek Stargazer Wear for Adam and Lily, so players will have the opportunity to deck out their characters in some fashionable gear.

Players also get the Stargazer pack for the Drone, 2,000 SP EXP, and 5,000 gold (in-game currency). That’s a great advantage to have and could help you get some crucial items that’ll make the start of the game a bit more manageable.
