So, where is the Taiyo Shipyard in the Settled Systems? It’s not exactly where, or what, most players would expect, especially considering thevarious other Staryardsand Shipyards scattered throughout the numerous star systems. This guide will point you in the right direction!
Where Is The Taiyo Shipyard?
Unfortunately, Taiyo does not have a dedicated Shipyard, per se. Instead, they have a dedicated office space and showroom in Ryujin Tower in Neon City. And although it is not a typical Shipyard, you may buy ship parts here just the same.
Once you land in Neon and take the elevator to Neon Core, take a left and head down the path to Ryujin Tower. Tak the elevator up, and you’ll find Taiyo Astroneeringon on its own floor. Here, players can visit the Sales Room and Offices.
For those who wish to spend their hard-earned credits on Taiyo ship components, speak with Veronica Young in the Sales Room.She has cockpits, bays, habs, and docking modules for sale. Alongside the starship components, Taiyo Astroneering also sells ships of their own design, though be prepared to pay an arm and a leg for them. The best ship they have on offer is The Narwhal, which many within the Starfield community consider one of the game’s best ships. That said, it costs 400,000 credits, so make sure your pockets are very deep before you make the trek to purchase it.
Unless the player is swimming in cash, buying parts piecemeal is typically best. Purchase one component at a time until the starship is fully upgraded or constructed. By the time players hit the late game, they’ll have all the credits necessary to build an entire Taiyo ship if that’s the plan, or you can head back and scoop up that coveted Narwhal ship once and for all.
