Almost five months later and the uniqueStarfieldships just keep on coming. This time, one user has perfectly recreated a submarine, ready to conquer the deep, dark universe.
To be more specific, the submarine was based on Red October, a fictional ship from the 1990 movie ‘The Hunt For Red October’, which had a star-studded line-up featuring the likes of Sean Connery, Alec Baldwin, Sam Neill, and Tim Curry.

And the creation kit hasn’t been released yet.
A Starfield Ship Like No Other
Over on the Starfield ships subreddit (which, as you’re able to imagine, is a whole subreddit dedicated to players' Starfield ships), Reddit userConsiderationFit5752showed off their impressive build alongside a model image of the fictional Red October submarine.
Unfortunately, the creator didn’t leave any detailed instructions on how you can recreate this behemoth of a ship, but it is tagged as ‘glitched/exploit’, which means recreating it will involve some sort of tomfoolery. The user also said that although the first-person view is completely normal, there is some object clipping inside of the ship.

This is just one of many unique Starfield ships that have been created with the game’s highly customizable shipbuilder. In the past, we’ve seenships that looked like helicopters, ships with massive cargo capacity, and even aship in the shape of a chicken…yes, a chicken.
And it’s good news for all you ship-building aficionados out there, as Starfield’s latest update makes a great number of fixes in regards to ship customization. Various issues, such as ship hatches being marked as inaccessible after swapping to a new home ship, or the issue that caused non-functional ladders to appear when the player modified their ship with a Taiyo All-In-One Berth Top A and a Deimos 1x1, have now been fixed. For the full list of changes, ensure to check out thefull patch notes on the Bethesda website.

Although there’s a long list of fixes and improvements in the latest Starfield update, the patch has only been released in Steam Beta. This means, if you’re not opted into the Beta program on Steam, or you’re on Xbox, you’ll need to wait until the end of the month for the update’s official release.
