The new multiplayer mode coming to the beloved game is horde mode. Up to two players, both online or couch co-op, can join together to take about a bunch of robots and the evil Robo-Squidward. It is, by far, the most belovedSpongebobgame. While it had middling reviews, it has garnered a cult following with the speedrunning community.
Personally, I have never played it. I grew up watchingSpongebob Squarepants, but it came out the same year asTony Hawk’s UndergroundandNBA Street Vol. 2. I didn’t have time for cartoons when I was shreddin' the gnar and breakin' ankles. Regardless, it’s cool THQ Nordic is bringing back this cult favorite.
