Square Enix announced mobile gacha game by Yoko TaroSinoalicewill be getting a collaboration event with the newHigurashianime adaptation. The one with Akio Watanabe charadesigns, starting in October 2020. A short trailer was published for the occasion, though it’s a teaser and doesn’t show anything. You can find it further below.Higurashiitself is getting a new gacha game titledHigurashi Mei, tied up with the new anime adaptation. It sounds pretty peculiar as it’ll feature BGM by the walking synthesizer Motoi Sakuraba.We wrote about it here.Personally, what hypes me about this collab is how we could see Yoko Taro and Ryukishi07 teaming up. I’m not a huge fan of Yoko Taro but it’ll definitely be interesting to see the two collaborating with each other. If it does turn out to be the case. The collab also meansHigurashicharacters will joinSinoalice, and it’ll be interesting to see which characters makes the cut besides Rena, (she’ll definitely be in asHigurashi’s poster girl), and the new artwork made for each one of them.Moreover, alive streamwas announced for August 21 at 2100 JST (Click here for time conversions).
