Silent Hill 2 Fans Aren’t Happy With Bloober’s New Remake Trailer
Fans have called the upcoming remake of Silent Hill 2 “rough” and “stiff” after seeing the latest trailer.
LEGO x Silent Hill 2
Delving into the creative gaming fandom, artistShirblerhas showcased their epic Silent Hill 2 and LEGO crossover on Reddit to the excitement and awe of fans. Incorporating the murky and spooky atmosphere well known in Silent Hill, Shirbler gave it a somewhat lighter aesthetic by adding in the blocky vibe of LEGO we have all come to know and love.
We even see a cute little LEGO James Sunderland, the protagonist of Silent Hill 2, donning his infamous M65 field jacket while holding a flashlight and even coming face to face with Pyramid Head, one of the most iconic monsters in the Silent Hill franchise. Shirbler’s fanart has not only shown them to be an incredibly talented artist, but also how much fans want nothing more than for this game to be brought to life for real so that they can actually play it.

“I’d definitely play this, well done,” said one comment, while another aired their disappointment that it was just fanart - “I hate you for making me think there was a Silent Hill Lego game”. Even though Lego Dimensions was discontinued in 2017, the desire for it, even if it was just to cross paths with Silent Hill 2, has seemingly never faded. “Just imagine if Lego dimensions still existed for this lol”, exclaimed another comment.
As reported byEurogamerlast month, the development team behind Silent Hill 2 has said that they are “very confident” and “excited” about their upcoming game. Here’s hoping horror fans get a release date soon, or who knows what else they could make out of LEGO - maybe a Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake?
