However, before the situation got this ugly between the two singers, they had a friendly working relationship, and Drake collaborated with Lamar for his 2013 trackPoetic Justice. The song was produced by American record producer Scoop DeVille. Interestingly, the song is a tale of love and lust and highlights the internal struggles of Lamar. Drake contributed to the second verse of the song.
