Four Knights of the Apocalypseserves as a sequel to the popularThe Seven Deadly Sinsmanga series. The manga’s story takes place six years after the end ofSeven Deadly Sins’journey. We focus on Percival, who is troubled by a prophecy, which states that the young boy will someday become a member of theFour Knights. This mysterious group is destined to destroy the world. So, because of the prophecy, Percival finds out that several powerful people want to annihilate him. So, the boy seeks out the only people who could protect him, the Four Knights.

Anime fans have a love and hate relationship with theSeven Deadly Sinsanime. So, the rumor of the upcoming anime series caught everyone’s attention. While some fans are excited that they’ll step back into the mystical world of Brittania, some aren’t that thrilled about it.

The Seven Deadly Sins Sequel Anime Confirmed

Recently, Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen magazine confirmed thatThe Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knight of the Apocalypseis getting an anime adaptation. The confirmation for the project was accompanied by its first teaser visual, which gives us a good look at the story’s protagonist, Percival.

Of course, this is exciting news for anime fans who lovedThe Seven Deadly Sins. However, there’s no confirmation on the sequel anime’s release date. Also, we don’t know if Studio Deen, who worked on the previous two seasons ofSDS, will pick up the sequel.

Apparently, most fans wish for a different studio to work on the sequel because the community wasn’t exactly happy with Studio Deen’s work inSeven Deadly Sins’last two seasons.

Nevertheless, we can expect more news about theFour Knight of the Apocalypsein the coming days. We’ll learn about the studio before getting an official trailer, which might hint at a release date for the project.
