Rick and Mortyreturned with its much-awaited season 6 after a year-long hiatus, and so far, the latest season has given us six spectacular episodes. The show has been following a weekly release schedule, so fans were expecting to stream Episode 7 on Sunday, October 16th, 2022. However, the community will have to wait a little longer to watch the next episode since the adult animated series has gone on hiatus.

After the release of Episode 6, Adult Swimconfirmed on its official Twitterhandlethat Rick and Morty Season 6 is taking a break. The hiatus will last for six weeks, and the show will return with the next episode onSunday, November 20th, 2022.
Adult Swim didn’t announce Season 6 to be a two-part season when the TV show came back last month. So, several fans assumed that the series would follow a weekly release schedule without going through any hiatus. However, it seems like the creators had other plans.
Almost every season of Rick and Morty went on a short hiatus after delivering a few episodes. For instance, the Fourth Season went on a three-month break after delivering five episodes, whereas Season 5 took went on a hiatus after eight episodes. So, it’s not at all surprising that the creators are following their tradition with Season 6. The network didn’t give us any reason for the six-week hiatus for the sixth season, but it’s safe to assume that the creators want to stretch the season for a little longer.
Of course, it’s unfortunate that we won’t be getting any new episodes of Rick and Morty for the next few weeks. Regardless, the show isn’t taking a long break, and the Smith Family will return next month with more shenanigans. Until then, you can stream the previous episodes of Rick and Morty onAdult Swim.
