Although the patch notes aren’t here just yet, there are reports of various bug fixes arriving in the new update. According toRedDeadRDCon Twitter, today’s newRed Deadpatch appears to have fixed the ‘50% load bug’ on PlayStation 5.

Prior to the latest patch, a large number of PlayStation users were experiencing an issue withRed Dead Redemption 2crashing at 50% into the main loading screen.

The update is rather small on PC and PlayStation, coming in at around 265MB on PC and 315MB on PlayStation. Whilst the Xbox patch comes in at a slightly larger size of around 2.9GB.

The reason for the larger patch size on Xbox is reportedly due to Microsoft not supporting a feature Rockstar Games uses called ‘delta patching’. This feature allows areas of a file to be patched without having to download the whole file again. This is according tovideotech_on Twitter.
