As February’sRoselia Community Daystarts to come to a close around the world, players are left wondering what’s still to come this month. Thankfully, the answer is a lot. There’s the usual Spotlight hours, a range of smaller events and one or two bigger ones. So let’s take a look at the remainingPokemon GOFebruary 2021schedule.
Pokemon GO February 2021 Spotlight Hours/Raids
So, while we’ve already had the Ekans spotlight hour, there are still three to go. On February 9,Miltankis in the spotlight. February 16, isLuvdiscand then on February 23 everybody’s favourite,Pikachu, steps into the spotlight. Each spotlight hour takes place on a Tuesday, at 6:00 pm local time.
Alongside the Spotlight Hours, there’s a lot of raid changes coming throughout the rest of this month. In terms of Mega Raids,Mega Venusaur, Mega Ampharos, andMega Houndoomare available until February 9. Then,Mega Pigeotand a debutingMega Gyaradostake the place of Houndoom and Venusaur. Following that,Mega Venusaur,Mega Charizard X,Mega Charizard Y, andMega BlastoiseÂwill be available from February 20 - March 1.
February also sees five-star raids shaken up a few times.Suicuneis replaced byLatiosandLatiason March 9, before they are replaced on February 20. Their replacements? None other thanArticuno,Zapdos,Moltres, andMewtwo, who remain available through until March 1.
Lunar New Year and Valentine’s Day events
March 9 seesPokemon GOusher in the Lunar New Year. In this event, red Pokemon will be more prevalent. Pokemon such asKrabby, Goldeen, Magmar, Magikarp, Miltank, MedititeandTepigwill be more common in the wild. There will also be a range of exclusive field research tasks, new raid Pokemon and a variety of new Pokemon hatching from 5KM eggs. It is also the first time the aforementioned Mega Gyarados will be available in raids. This event runs until February 14.
Then, as the Lunar New Year event finishes, the yearly Valentine’s Day one begins. While little has been shared about this event, based on previous years, you can expect a range of pink Pokemon to become more common. Niantic does also tease that some Pokemon will be “making theirPokemon GOdebut”.
Pokemon GO Kanto Tour
Arguably the crown jewel ofPokemon GO’sFebruary events is the Kanto Tour. This ticketed event has a higher cost than usual events but brings a wealth of excitement. Players will pick between Red and Green, just like the original games, and will have the opportunity to catch all Pokemon from the Kanto region in their shiny forms. This includesShiny Mew!
