A user on the Pokemon Go Reddit has uploaded an image of a local PokeStop, where they managed to include an image of their dog, Bonnie, who passed away last year.

Bonnie appears in the PokeStop disc of a local park, where players will be able to see them whenever they interact with it.
The OP managed this vianominating a PokeStop, where players can send information data to Niantic for consideration as a future PokeStop, with the image included.

Naturally, the memorial PokeStop caused an outpouring of love from users on Reddit. They were touched that the OP was able to put their beloved pet in Pokemon Go. This was especially true of players who had also recently lost their furry friends.

“I would love a postcard with Bonnie in it. Sorry for your loss,” one user wrote, while another said, “I feel your loss, my dog also passed away a couple weeks ago. She was my daily incense buddy.”
As mentioned by several users, it’s also possible to send images of Bonnie’s PokeStop viaPokemon Go’s Gift feature.
This means that even if Niantic did change the image, that other users could have it saved as a postcard if they send it out.
