New details onHogwarts Legacycould finally be on the way as a new PlayStation State of Play Event is rumoured to take place in March.

Following the game’s announcement at a PlayStation 5 Event back in September 2020,Hogwarts Legacywas then delayed until 2022 to create “the best possible experience for all of the Wizarding World”. Unfortunately, ever since then it has been radio silence from Avalanche Studios.

Speculation and rumours have been circulating for some months now surrounding a newHogwarts Legacytrailer, but with a PlayStation State of Play Event rumoured for March, this could be the big one we’ve all been waiting for.

The news comes fromNick Baker, a reliable industry insider and host of the XboxEra podcast who states “happy to add to what’s already out there. Yes, they’ve got a show in March. This is supposed to be the good one”.

Nick was replying to fellow insiderTom Henderson, who was speculating on a PlayStation State of Play Event for next month due to there being so many titles in the works.

Of course, it’s unclear if the State of Play will actually be taking place next month, or what it will contain even if it does take place. However, withHorizon Forbidden Westreleasing last week, andGran Turismo 7now only a week away, all eyes are onGod of War: RagnarokandHogwarts Legacy.

Many in the community are speculating that with the upcoming State of Play rumoured to be “the good one”, either a release date forGod of War: Ragnarokcould be announced, or a new trailer forHogwarts Legacyrevealed.

However, fellow leakerAccountNGTquote retweeted Nick with a magical wand emoji, suggesting that the upcoming State of Play could feature a strong focus onHogwarts Legacy.
