This holiday season will see Sony dipping its toe into the ever-expanding market of miniaturized renditions of 20th-century consoles with its quite adorablePlayStation Classic. The compact little device which stands at 45% smaller than the original 90s system wasannounced back in September of this year.

Today, those with a taste for retro gaming get to see just what thePlayStation Classichas to offer, as the entire lineup has been officially revealed featuring 20 timeless titles; many of which were genre-defining when they initially launched. However, the machine will not feature options to download additional games. While fighting game fans can relive the birth of the 3D era withBattle ArenaToshindenandTekken 3, puzzle fans can dive into classics such asIntelligent QubeandSuper Puzzle Fighter II Turbo. Platforming is also represented in both 2D and 3D throughRaymanandJumping Flashrespectively.

However, alongside these classic games are some of the biggest titles of the PlayStation generation. The mightyMetal Gear Solidwill be included in the collection, mixing stealth, action, and character development to create a unique cinematic experience. Along with this is theDirector’s Cutof the originalResident Evil; the title that defined the genre of survival horror. The firstGrand Theft Autogame also makes an appearance; sporting a top-down view this controversial title follows the misadventures of a gangster traveling through Liberty City, Vice City, and San Andreas. Although vastly different from what see inGrand Theft Auto V, this was still an important stepping stone in making the series the household name that it is today.

To top it off, the infamousFinal Fantasy VIIis also included in this robust collection. Considered by many to be one of the greatest video games ever made, this title was graphically ground-breaking when it was first released in 1997.
