Persona 5 Tacticaoffers an additional DLC story called Repaint Your Heart for those who purchased it. This DLC is more than just a few tweaks to the main story; and actually takes place completely apart from the main game.

What Is Repaint Your Heart
Repaint Your Heart is anew story that takes place at a different time from the main story.This game doesn’t feature all the Phantom Thieves; instead, itfeatures Akechi and Kasumi joining Jokerin a new dimension. As this DLC exists outside the main story, there is adifferent Phantom Thieveslevel to level up, along with new skill trees for both of the new characters,along with an empty one for Joker to be leveled up alongside the other characters.
Along with the Tactics style gameplay is the addition ofpainting the battlefield and its effects during battle.The Phantom Thieves and the enemy will both be trying to paint the battlefield with their own paint, withboth sides receiving bonuses for standing within their own side’s coloranddisadvantages when standing in the other team’s color.The total gameplay of the DLC is much shorter than the main story, onlyadding up to about four or five hours in total.

How To Access Repaint Your Heart
After purchasing the Repaint Your Heart DLC and turning on the game with the DLC downloaded,go to the “Downloadable Content” option second from the bottom on the main menu.This will change the main menu and make it that of the Repaint Your Heart DLC, letting players start a new game or load previous save files, along withreturning to the main story through the “Main Story” option on the DLC’s main menu.
When Does Repaint Your Heart Take Place
It’s unclear exactly when the Repaint Your Heart DLC takes place, but there are afew hints that lead players to believe it takes place during Sai’s palaceor on one of the first days ofMaruki’s new reality. Morgana still being a cat makes it much more likely this takes place during Sai’s palace, asJoker knows about both Kasumi and Akechi’s Personas but before any major changes to each characterlater in the original game’s story.
