Where To Catch Suzaku
Suzaku’s Habitat is the desert area located in the northeast portion of the map. The temperatures here can get pretty high, and if you plan on braving these harsh desert sands while the sun is still up, you will definitely want to get your hands on a Tropical Outfit. However, there are alsosome othertips onhow to survive in both hot climates. Once you’re ready, go grab yourself the strongest water Pal you have and begin your hunt. Heads up, Suzaku’s levels range around 40, so you might want toget some extra leveling in.
What Makes Suzaku Special
A lot of Pals have somereally amazing designsthat get you excited over the thought of catching them — andSuzaku is one of them. Suzaku is a Fire-type, making itstrong against both Grass and Ice Pals. Just like how a Blazamut and Astegon get a Suzaku, it seems you can get an Astegon by using a Suzaku. Astegon is a dual-element Pal with Dark and Dragon typing and a Mining Work Suitability at Lv 4. Their Partner Skill will make them an even better miner and help youget a ridiculous amount of Orein the game.
If Blazamut is the Pal you don’t have, you can breed your Suzaku with an Astegon to get it. Blazamut is a true powerhouse when it comes to battle with a lot of heavy-hitting fire attacks and a Partner skill that will boost the damage dealt by both Blazamut and the player while the player is mounted on them.
Menasting is a brilliant Pal when you want to get out and farm some Electric Pal drops. This Pal’s Partner Skill will cause Electric Pals to drop more items than usual, but will also raise the player’s defense. This allows the player to keep farming for longer periods per session. This Pal is also great at the base thanks to Mining at Lv 3 and Lumbering at Lv 2. Overall, it is a great Pal for getting lots of resources.

Best Field Alpha Pals To Fight
Suzaku is a Fire-type Pal that will significantly increase the damage of all Fire-type attacks that either you or Suzaku makes. This means it is ideal for taking out any Ice and Grass Field Alpah Pals you may come across. There are a lot of low-level Alphas that are weak to fire, but tackling them would just be overkill by the time you have a Suzaku at your disposal. However, there are 4 that might give you trouble.
Southwest of the Frostbound mountains will be a small circular island surrounded by water. On this small island will be the portal to this Alpha Pal. There is nothing obstructing your view of this portal.
You will have the benefit of pillars for this fight. You can hide behind one at a distance with a strong ranged weapon while your Suzaku deals out fire damage. All of Vaelet’s attacks have a windup, allowing you to pull back your Suzaku to prevent it from being hit. Then pull it right back out and mount it for some increased fire damage. Then dismount and repeat while Vaelet is closing the distance.
You will find its portal on the east side of the Frostbound Mountains.
If you have an assault rifle and plenty of ammo, this will be a short fight. Unlike Vaelet, Sibelyx cannot poison your Suzaku. Mount your Suzaku and use Fire Ball, Flare Storm, Flare Arrow, and then unleash your weapon at Sibelyx’s face for maximum damage. Use these abilities again once their cooldowns refresh and Sibelyx will fall before you do.
Ice Kingpaca
You will find a small frozen lake with a large skeleton by heading north from the Boss Tower of the Astral Mountains. Head down to this lake to find a mineshaft with Ice Kingpaca inside.
You can use the same strategy as Sibelyx, but keep in mind Ice Kingpaca can be rather tanky. You might want to capture a second Suzaku just in case your first falls in battle. A better idea would be to capture several and then use them with the Pal condenser so that your Suzaku is at least 1 star.
Head to the frozen lake located on the northwest side of the northmost island, the Astral Mountains.
Never dismount, you will want to hit Frostallion with everything you have from the air and always be moving. Frostallion is devastating up close and can easily close the distance between the two of you. You will have pillars and even plateaus you can use to rest upon.
