Why am I not surprised to see another ore we need to farm for new craftables inPalworld? Crude Oil base, check, Ore base check. Hexolite Quartz base, work in progress.
With the new Feybreak update, we’ve acquired many new craftables, armors, and weapons that require the brand-new Hexolite Ores.
And I must say, they’re not that easy to come by. They aren’t as rare as Chromite, but we don’t have Hexolite Quartz mining sites yet, so they’re still a hassle to farm.
That said, without beating around the bush, we have some helpful methods to farm this type of ore despite the shortage.
As someone who farmed these ores with a Rocket launcher, I can assure you that they’re not that tough to farm, and you can use a sword.
What is Hexolite Quartz?
Their name sounds like something you would tentatively hover over a Bunsen Burner in science class, but they are just the materials we need toforge the new alloy, Hexolite.
Fuse Chromite, Ores, and Hexolite Quartz, and we get Hexolite that can be used tomake new armor, facilities,and weapons.
If you’re planning to get thenew gear and weaponsthat can help you tackle newferocious predator Pals, you’ve got to spend some time farming Hexolite Quartz and Chromite to get up to speed.

Farming Hexolite Quartz
Thank you, developers, for making these ores easy to spot. Theyshine at night and are quite visible during the day, so you don’t have to go inside dungeons with a metal detector (looking at you Chromite spawns).
Depending onyour world settings,gathering a few chunks ofore may take a few hits, or you can one-shotthem witha Rocket launcher(like I do).
The choice is yours. UnlikeCoal and regular ores,Hexolite Quartz doesn’t have many clusters where you may place a base to encompass multiple nodes.
So, the easy solution is toplace your base camp around an ore node,place a Guild’s chest, and do a few mining and transport Pals to set up the passive Hexolite Quartz farm.

Where To Farm Hexolite Quartz
So, now you know what this new material is and what it looks like. But, I’m not about to leave you hanging without some decent spots to start a Hexolite Base.
