Going further into details of the new season, players will get to celebrate the arrival of Lifeweaver with a new event going live on April 25, where a new limited-time 3v3 Deathmatch arcade mode will be active. In this event, all players will play as Lifeweaver and each team will have access to a single B.O.B. This new mode will have a Thai New Year aesthetic asBlizzardtries to give out more information on the origins of the new hero.

Along with the new mode, a new map will also be available in the Arcade mode from April 25 until May 1. This is the same map that Blizzard built with the help of the community during the Twitch Makes Overwatch livestream.

On May 9, Overwatch will host the Starwatch: Galactic Rescue event, where players will fight against each other in a 4v4 mode on the reworked version of Horizon Lunar Colony that will represent the event’s space-war theme. The event will feature a number of challenges that will grant you free rewards once completed.

When it comes to balancing, Blizzard will introduce a new ultimate ability for Brigitte this season. Also, you may expect minor changes for Sigma, Reinhardt, and Cassidy. The developer will remove seasonal decay with the beginning of Season 4, which means you will no longer “see a dip in your displayed tier and division.” Also, players will get to see the skill rating of a match before it begins in Season 4.

The full patch notes on the balance changes are expected to be shared once the update goes live.
