Zoro is one of the main protagonists inOne Pieceand has proven himself over the years. He gains new experiences and power-ups in every arc and is an extremely strong opponent despite not having any Devil Fruit Powers.
One PieceVivre Cards have recently been released and the one assigned to Zoro has caused some disturbance among fans. While some facts about the swordsman are surprising, other details seem to be included half-heartedly. Or maybe there is a reason behind the details being fuzzy.
Zoro Achieved All Three Types of Haki
Conqueror’s Haki or Haoshoku Haki is one of the rarest Haki with limited users inOne Piece. Zoro’s Conqueror’s Haki stayed dormant for years before it finallyawakened in his battle against King. During the fight, Zoro induced the Haki into his three swords and all of them emitted black lightening due to the infusion. Zoro used this technique to deal damage to King.

However, in the recently releasedVivre Cards, Zoro is not shown to have Conqueror’s Haki. The cards only state that Zoro has Armament Haki and Observation Haki. Observation Haki is the most basic form and it heightens a person’s senses. It could even grant the power of precognition.

The Armament Haki allows the user to manifest their spirit and use it to coat their bodies as an offense or defense mechanism. The third type is Conqueror’s Haki which is too rare, but Zoro is one of the only people in One Piece who has learnt all of them.
Zoro’s Vivre Card Shows Lack of Conqueror’s Haki
Despite everyone knowing Zoro’s achievements with Conqueror’s Haki, why is the ability not included in Zoro’s Vivre Card? Is it possible that Zoro was never able to use Conqueror’s Haki and the move against King was just a fluke?
The alternative is that Conqueror’s Haki was actually stored inZoro’s sword, Enma. Enma is one of the 21 Great Grade swords in One Piece. It is even appreciated by Kozuki Oden. Kozaburo even deemed Enma to be his masterpiece. The sword has a tendency to release the wielder’s Armament Haki in excessive amounts and often cuts more than intended. It was once deemed to be an impossible-to-master sword.
If Enma could house both Armament Haki and Conqueror’s Haki, it would make sense why Zoro could suddenly use the power after it stayed dormant in him for years. This also suggests that much like Armament Haki, Conqueror’s Haki can also bestored in weapons like swords.

So does Zoro have Conqueror’s Haki or not? A fact that was as clear as day a few days ago is suddenly being questioned by fans. The Vivre Cards could have been a result of a simple miscalculation or error. But on the other hand,Eiichiro Odacould be trying to pull our attention towards something else that is at play.
