WhileEiichiro Odamay slowly progress towards revealing it, there have been some speculations that connect the invader to Nami, pointing out that she might be the evil twin of the Straw Hat Pirates’ navigator.
These speculations come from the fact that out of all the Straw Hat Pirates, Nami is the only one whose lineage has been kept a mystery for so long by Oda. In fact, she is one of the very few characters (along with Shanks) whose character development might depend on the disclosure of her past.
