Tite Kubo is a real genius for laying out plot twists in his seriesBleach. From Sosuke Aizen’s betrayal to Isshin Kurosaki’s identity, the series has its fair share of shocking revelations. Above all, there’s one plot twist that is hollowed out, quite literally!

Of all the Arrancars in the story, Yammy Llargo’s strength came as a surprise to most fans. As one of the strongest Espada in the series, Yammy leveled up to a zero in no time.
While it did outline his strength and formidability, it left the audience with a major pothole in Kubo’s series. A fan theory, however, addresses this perfectly and is the perfect fix for this plothole.

BleachFan Theory has the perfect fix for Espada Number 0’s backstory
The Arrancar Arc is one of the most interesting and enthralling arcs in theBleachseries. It laid out some of the most iconic and menacing villains in the anime including Nnoitra and Ulquiorra.
But what tops the chart is the introduction of Yammy Llargo which came as a shocker for most fans. Llargo starts at the 10th rank as an Espada in the series along with Ulquiorra. His leveling up to the 0 rank is one of the major plot twists in the series.

The character is among the very first Arrancars introduced in the series along with his partner Ulquiorra. His identity as Espada number 0 was much of a shocker that seemed rather inconsistent. Several fans pointed to Kubo’sirregular power scalingin the series.
Above all, this remains a plot hole in more ways than one. The revelation regarding him being the strongest member seemed more of a shock value. Which of course, had fans point to its underwhelming nature. This theory, however, might be a perfect fix for this though.

AReddittheory posited Yammy’s possible backstory which could be the perfect build-up for his character’s development.
The speculations pave the way for a perfect build-up for Yammy’s development as one of the strongest Espada. It would be nothing short of iconic considering how Kubo left several territories and aspects uncharted in his series. This also ties well with the incessant cycle of plot inconsistencies in his series.

Tite Kubo and the incessant cycle of plot holes
Tite Kubo’sgenius lies in his creation of well-written characters as well as the exploration of dark themes. But what truly marks his brilliance is the complexities he brings out in his characters. From Gin Ichimaru to Sosuke Aizen, Kubo left no stone unturned in creating fleshed-out characters.
Apart from moral ambiguity and conflict, there are several plot inconsistencies in his series. This mostly has to do with the lore along with the power scaling in the series. Most characters are deemed strong only to be nerfed later on.
Yammy Llargo is one of them, though one of the biggest nerfs in the series is Yamamoto. As the oldest captain of the Gotei 13, Genryusai Yamamoto is unjustly nerfed by Kubo throughout his series according to most fans. His death, however, is one of the most gut-wrenching moments in the series.
Along with Yamamoto, the characters and their Bankai are often left underutilized. This holds especially true forKuruyashiki’s Bankaiwhich stands as one of the most potent and terrifying abilities.

Barring the plotholes and inconsistencies, Tite Kubo could address these uncharted possibilities in the future. To say the least, it would be nothing short of a delight for most fans.
