The two most prominent manga authors in the community,One Piece’sEiichiro Oda andBleach’sTite Kubo, have been known to be at odds with each other since the beginning of their careers. Although the two have earned worldwide recognition and fame, their competitive nature to make their work the best in the industry has always been a highlighting factor of their relationship.

One Piece has entered it’s final arc

However, in the past few years, it has grown so much that fans have started creating “fake” beef between the two manga creators. There have been multiple incidents where Kubo and Oda’s words have been manipulated to make them look like the two manga creators hate each other to the core.

But as mentioned above, these are nothing more than allegations. While they do not have a friendly relationship like others, they respect each other’s work and appreciate each other in their own way. In fact, the two have inspired each other to make their mangas better than they already are.

Their feud has reached a point where the two fandoms have also dragged the manga creators in the mud and created fake conflicts between them. The most recent one is Oda not paying tribute toTite Kuboafter the end of theBleachseries, just like he did with the rest of the prominent manga creators of the industry.

While there are a few fans who understand these bogus feuds and the intentions behind them, others are always trying to fan the flames of hatred between the two mangakas.

These lies and rumors have grown and spread faster than the ones that the sniper of the Straw Hat Pirates, Usopp, used to tell about his journey as a pirate captain. But this does not affect the professional relationship betweenEiichiro Odaand Kubo in any way.

Tite Kubo’s Alleged Hate Towards Eiichiro Oda

The rumor about the conflicts between Oda and Kubo started in 2017 when theBleachmangaka jokingly claimed that he hated Oda on a Japanese public radio show. Kubo revealed that his editor comparedBleachtoOne Pieceand asked Kubo to be more like Oda,which made him jealous. However, it was just a humorous banter by Kubo that fans took out of context.

From here on, the narrative about Kubo hating Oda started developing, and it went to the point that Oda had to reply to Kubo’s statement. TheOne Piececreator pointed out that he did not feel any kind of hatred or rudeness and understood the intention behind the statement. Not only that,he even invited Kubo for drinks, explaining the reality of their relationship.
