Where To Find Coal
Coal deposits can only be found in caves or underground areasof certain realms. The earliest Coal starts appearing is in the caves ofProvisioner Realms. It also appears in higher-tier realms like Herbarium, Gloom, and Hunt, but the first time you’ll encounter it is in Provisioner Realms.
Deposits of Coal look like grey rocks with streaks of black, quite similar to Ore (Tin)deposits but without the patterns. The only other difference is thatCoal only appears underground. You only need a Simple Mining Pick to mine Coal, but having a Refined Pick will definitely make the job easier.

Finding caves in a realm is easier than it might appear at first. First, clear out the localFae Towerand unlock thePoints of Intereston the map. Then, look for Fae Portals and Occupationmissions on the map.
Use theWorld Beaconsto highlight the nearest location and then make your way to these locations. Fae Porals are typically underground with tons of gems, ores, and coal deposits to go around. ensure tobring a followerwith you so that you’re able to offload whatever you mine to them when it gets too heavy.

While most Occupation missions are on the surface, some of them are underground, meaning there is a chance you’ll be able to find a cave when you go looking for them.
Playing the Quarry Minor Card at the Fae Tower will increase the yield of deposits. Use it to increase your efficiency in mining Coal.
