Episode 7: Disaster Walker, Recap
Episode 7, Disaster Walker, was aptly named. The episode starts with chaos: several Nomus survived Tomura’s decay ability and are moving to fight the incoming heroes. Gran Torino, Deku, and Bakugo all looked stunned at the scene, thinking that the whole lab should’ve fallen under the decay. Shigaraki reveals that he can now control his powerful ability, and has a host of others.
But he couldn’t use them, thanks to Eraserhead. Shigaraki realizes this, and sets course for the pro hero. He easily gets through Eraserhead’s defenses before Deku intercepts.
Deku’s qurik, One for All, is exactly what Shigaraki is looking for. Deku realizes this, and uses himself as bait, luring the League of Villain’s leader into a trap filled with Bakugo’s explosions.
It isn’t enough to stop Shigaraki, and Endeavor has to come in to save the young heroes. The episode ends with Shigaraki commanding Gigantomachia to come to him. Dutiful as ever, the behemoth of a villain heads straight toward his young master. The students of U.A. got a message from pro hero Midnight stating that Gigantomachia had broken through their defenses, and it was up to them whether to fight — or flee.
Episode 8 is titled League Villains vs U.A. Students, so we’ll find out what they chose on November 19!
