In the previous episode of Mushoku Tensei, we saw Rudeus taking the alias of Quagmire in his quest to find his mother, Zenith. While on a mission with Counter Arrow, they face a Snow Drake attack. However, Soldat Heckler’s Stepped Leader party saves them, but tensions arise post-battle, leaving fans on a major cliffhanger.

The official website ofMushoku Tenseihas released a preview of the upcoming episode, and after the incident in which Rudeus saves Sarah’s life, their interactions will begin to change, and they will grow closer to each other. Sarah will ask Rudeus to accompany her on a date to buy a new dagger.
During their outing, they will have a great time shopping and engage in meaningful conversations at a bar, which will create an even more intimate atmosphere between them. Despite thoughts of Eris crossing his mind, Rudeus will ultimately make up his mind about his feelings for Sarah after experiencing her genuine attitude toward him.

What Happened Previously On Mushoku Tensei?
After a few months, Rudeus put a lot of effort into making a name for himself in the Basherant Kingdom in the hopes that word of his success would get to his mother, Zenith, or anybody who knew where she was. He made the decision to accompany Counter Arrow on another mission to harvest Snow Drake scales while on a snow-gathering mission. However, they unintentionally collided with Stepped Leader’s party, which was also pursuing the animals, but Counter Arrow managed to overcome the difficulties and finished the mission.
After arriving in Rosenburg, Sara persuaded Rudeus to join them in celebrating. But at the party, Soldat, the Stepped Leader’s leader, bellowed out his annoyance, feeling that Rudeus was hiding his true power. The following day, Rudeus discovered that Sara had vanished during a quest, Mimir had been slain, and the rest of Counter Arrow had been forced to flee due to a blizzard.
After killing the Snow Buffaloes and obtaining Mimir’s remains in Trier Forest, he managed to save Sara from an Incefall Treant after originally believing she had died. Rudeus felt a sense of relief and forgiveness after hearing sincere appreciation from Sara and the Counter Arrow members.
