Titled Episode 0, the previous installment saw the adventures of Princess Ariel and Sylphie, where the latter maneuvered her exceptional fighting skills while saving the princess. With their bond strengthened, the two then set out on a new journey.

Now it’s time for the release of the second episode of the series, titled The Broken Magician. The official website of Mushoku Tensei has released a preview of what fans can expect from the upcoming chapter, alongside a few preview images.
Rudeus will embark on a journey to find his mother, Zenith. However, he won’t be able to escape his deep sadness when Eris goes missing. While traveling on a carriage to the northern land, Rudeus will meet Sarah and Suzanne from the adventurer group called Counter Arrow. He will decide to join them and take on a request at the adventurer’s guild.

What Happened Previously On Mushoku Tensei?
After the Teleport Incident, Sylphie was seen floating in the sky above the Asura Kingdom. There, she killed a dangerous boar that was after Ariel’s life. Sylpic fought bravely and also saw some physical transformations in her body. Ariel was impressed by Sylphie’s abilities and convinced her to become one of her bodyguards with the name Fitz.
It was then revealed that Ariel was secretly in dispute with her brother Grabel about who should inherit the throne of Asura. And the only people to support her claim were her bodyguard Luke and his father, Lord Pilemon. Later, Ariel discovered that Sylphie had nightmares about the teleport incident, while Ariel was afraid to sleep alone as well, so they decided to sleep together for the night. During the night, a Nights Eye Crow attacked them, which was sent by Grabel and Darius to assassinate Ariel. However, Sylphie managed to kill the enemy and save the princess.
Witnessing the threat that Ariel was continuously facing, Lord Pilemon proposed that Ariel should move abroad for her safety. Ariel agreed and decided to relieve Sylphie from her duties before going. However, Sylphie chose to stay with Ariel, and together they went on a new journey.
